His Grace, Leo Cushley, the Archbishop of St Andrews & Edinburgh, kindly invites you all to join him in the celebration of Solemn First Vespers and Benediction for the Solemnity of St Andrew at St James’ Church on Thursday 29 November, 7pm. This will include veneration of our relic of St Andrew and refreshments afterwards.
This year’s East Neuk Christmas Fair & Coffee Morning fund raiser will be held on Saturday 1 December from 10am in the Legion Hall, Nethergate, Crail. Raffle prize gifts and home baking donations, as well as offers to help prepare and run the event would be most welcome. Volunteers are needed to help with brass cleaning for Christmas. Please meet in St James’ church hall on Tuesday 11 December at 2pm and bring rubber gloves. Any queries, contact Delia Crichton (01334) 475396.
On Sunday 16 December some of the children at St James’ will be serving the teas & coffees, along with festive treats, after 11am Mass. All money raised will be sent to SCIAF. Please do pop in and lend your support.
The SVDP cordially invites retired parishioners and friends to their annual Christmas party afternoon in St James’ church hall on Thursday 20 December at 2pm. All welcome!
This year’s Faith Winter Session will take place on 27-29 December at Stonyhurst College, Lancashire. It is a conference for young Catholics (16-35 years of age) with a blend of catechetical talks, prayer and social activities. Fr Galbraith will be attending.
